I've never ever done this before, but I can see the value, so here goes:
A little more about me: Last August it seemed good to me and to my OBGYN for me to have a hysterectomy. I had a fibroid tumor that was causing a great deal of pain and a condition called adenomyosis (similar to endometriosis)
It was decided that it could be done laparoscopically, so that it would be an in and out procedure with quick recovery, a big deal to me since I work, go to school and am busy with my family. It wasn't so easy, though, and in surgery the doctor accidentally poked a hole in my small intestine, leading to more major surgery and a 3 week hospital stay. The good news is that the hysterectomy successfully removed the uterus problems, and I have recovered fully. It really brought home to me the need to get in better shape. I realized that my recovery would have been faster had I been more healthy, and my family was pretty shook up over the whole thing. It also helped me to get a better perspective on what is important, so I have slowed down. I am not taking as many classes now, so that I can focus on my family more.
