I am so happy...

I've finally been able to up my protein level. It's the hardest thing for me as a vegetarian. I just bought fat free cottage cheese with 11g of protein per container, almonds, walnuts and tofu. After breakfast and a snack I'm already up to 30gm. of protein WooHoo for me! This program is so much easier than it was for me before. I love all the tools on here. I've tried tracking my protein before, but it was always so difficult. I am now going to get ready to take my dog and hubby to the forest preserve for a nice long cardio walk. They're not gonna know what hit them. Plus, it just started to snow : ) !

    Glad to meet you. I have seen you on the Fat Wives Club, and I now see that you are on the Johnny Depp club too. So we have a lot in common. I just wanted to share with you what I had for breakfast today. I made a pancake with:

    Soy protein isolate, potassium type, 2 oz - 192 cals, 46 gr protein
    Blueberries, fresh, 30 grams
    Egg Beaters - 1/4 cup, 1.5 serving 45 cals, 9 gr protein
    Quaker Instant Oatmeal, with maple and brown sugar, prepared with water, 0.5 packet, prepared

    total 332 cals, 57 gr protein.

    Not sure if you do eggs,,,,but this was wonderful,,,with a little Walden Farms no calorie syrup. The soy protein powder can be purchased at stores that have the bulk bins....I get it at Winco. It packs a lot of protein in a half a cup.
