I have finally decided to take action with my life!

In 2000 I graduated from massage therapy school, I was 42. I worked at a full time job for 10 years and did massages on the side with my own business from my home. This all happened in MA. When I moved to IL you needed to be nationally licensed and I didn't think I could pass the test. Plus the fact that all the stuff you need to fill out and send in, just to take the test seemed over whelming to me. I haven't had a job in 2.5 years. My excuse was that the test was hard and even if I passed I would not be able to work as a therapist because standing for too long would hurt my back. What kind of roll model would I be if I was fat and out of shape for my clients.
Well, I finally said to myself, enough is enough. Get off your duff and do your stuff! I am scared to death, but I will be sending in the application this month and start reading up on everything.
I figure if I could go to school 2 days a week for 10 hrs. each day, while working full time at a job where I stood all day and raised 3 boys all at the same time, I should be able to pass the test and get a job.
I am writing this to hold myself accountable for my actions. Whether people read this or not, I will just assume that they did.
I am going to start living my life! Then get a car so I can go to my job LOL!
