I'm back!!!

Wednesday, May 21, 2008

I first have to say sorry for being gone for so long! We were on vacation and had a wonderful time. When we got back, we had major computer problems. Our computer is finally working and I'm back online!

While I was gone, I turned 32, ran my first 5K and yo-yoed with my weight. After we got back from Florida, I gained 6 pounds. The next week, I lost 8!

I ran my first 5K. It took me 46 minutes, which was disappointing to me. The first 2 miles were all up hill. I had to stop and walk on the third hill. The same day was my birthday and we went out to dinner at Cheeseburger in Paradise! That was my reward for losing 30 pounds! Needless to say, I gained 6 pounds again.

I weighed in today and lost it all. I feeling pretty good about that. I'm still running and hoping to run another 5K in June. I'm debating about starting to train for a half marathon on July.

Stay tuned...

Wow! Congrats on your 5K! That's my goal too (and your goal of a mini-triathlon? Not crazy! I want to do that too! ). Great job! Keep up the good work Done Girl!

Congrats on your 5K!! I think 46 mins is GREAT! emoticon

I'm adding you to my list of 5K heroes! LOL!! I want to do that someday too.

You're doing a great job, and for only gaining (and already losing) the 6 lbs, you did a good job even while not on Spark! Way to go!
