Getting in the groove

Thursday, May 29, 2008

It's been hard getting used to working 40 hours a week. Escpecially since I haven't worked in 5 months. It's been going well though. It's kind of nice because I don't have any major responsibilities.

I'm trying to get in the groove of things. I've been doing pretty well. I think so considering I haven't had any grocieries. My mom helped me out and got some lettuce and chicken. Some eggs and some veggies.

Now I just have to work on getting back into an excersize schedule. My shifts latley have been 11-7 which is in the middle of the day. This week I'll be working 1-9 so I'll be able to go to the gym in the morning.

I've been taking my lunches to work but I haven't been taking enough so by the time I get home I'm starving and I eat too much. I am going to start taking snacks to work. But I need to work on getting my water in. I try too but if i drink all my water at work I have to keep leaving my station to go to the bathroom. I dunno. I'll figure it out.

I'm just ready to get back into a groove. =D

I work 40 hours too. It's hard especially since I started RIGHT after I finished my semester. Booooooo work, but we need the $$$$. I went food shopping yesterday for food to leave at my desk so I can snack on it at work, and I spent $30 on practically nothing. It's SOOO expensive, and my boyfriend's dad usually buys groceries for us haha. This economy sucks! emoticon
