A New Start!

I've just realized that when I count calories I actually eat more than I would if I didn't count them. Crazy, I know! I tend to listen to the number instead of if I'm hungry or not. This is not good and the reason I think I've not been losing, plus my sodium. So as of today, I've decided to be very careful of my sodium and I will log everything in the morning that I can eat for the day. Then I will not look at how many calories it has, I will see when I'm hungry and eat things I know will help with my weight loss. I've counted calories since I was 12 years old and bought my first calorie book. I actually still have it LOL! Today is a new start! I WILL lose 1.5 - 2 lbs. a week. I WILL burn 600 calories doing cardio each day. I will try to actually burn a little more than 600 each day so I can take Saturday off if I make my weekly quota of 4200 calories per week.
So the 600 I burn w/cardio and the 1500 I burn doing nothing = 2100 calories burned per day. For the first 2 weeks I'll stay at the low end of my calories 1400 per day. This means I should be losing 700 calories per day or 4900 calories per week. 3500 = 1 pound, I should lose at least 1 lb. per week and sometimes 1.5.
My fingers are crossed and my mind is set! NOW LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD AND DROP SOME POUNDS!
