If you have one true friend you have more than your share.
- Thomas Fuller, English clergyman & historian
We all have a handful of acquaintances--those people with whom we work or see at the store and casually say hello to and move on. But a friend is someone you confide in. You just feel a sense of safety with a friend. Don't wait until a rainy day to express how much a good friend means to you.

This was one of my Spark E-mails today. I'm sure lots of you got it! I just wanted to take a few minutes and tell all my friends that you truly keep me on my journey and make it fun! It is simply amazing to me that I could make so many friends on here and not just acquaintances.
I feel that I am able to say anything in my blogs and I will not be made fun of, laughed at or ridiculed. Do you know how big a thing that is when you have weight issues? Oh yeah, you all do! I cannot say that's the way "real life" is!
I want to thank all of you who comment on my page, give me goodies, answer my blogs, or just read them and then leave! You have all truly given me a sense of safety so I am able to confide in all of you and make my lifestyle journey a very pleasant one!
And I also want to thank everyone for sharing their lives, their stories and their families with me. It is such a personal thing, but we don't even give it a second thought. Those are indeed true friends.
I would like to finish with a quote I found and have on my Spark Page!
“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: ‘What! You, too? Thought I was the only one.’” (C.S. Lewis)
THANK YOU SO MUCH TO MY FRIENDS! YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HOW MUCH YOU'VE CHANGED MY LIFE AND MY ATTITUDE TOWARDS PEOPLE!
