Fell off the wagon, the trick is to get back on

Wednesday, August 06, 2008

Well I started out my day, great!! Walked past the vending maching no problem. Passed up the candy that someone brought to work, no problem. But we had a potluck today and everything went to hell in a hand basket. I took a salad as my contribution but that's not all I had. Yes I did fall off the wagon but I'm jumping back on. I'm headed downstairs to work out and the goal is to start fresh in the morning. Tomorrow is a new day. I'm not going to beat myself up about this, that is just self defeating. I'm still going to meet my August goals and I'm not down for the count. All I have to do is look in the mirror and that's all the motivation that I need. I'm sick of being miserable and it's time for a change. I WILL DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!! YEEEEE-HAAAAAA!

You are so right, it isn't about the number of times you fell off, it's all about the number of times you got back on. Congrats on being ready to get back out there and begin again tomorrow! In the past I would say, I'll get back on track next week, and then I never do... This thing is a total lifestyle change and your attitude is great. I wish you much success!
