So, I've been slowly doing the Couch to 5k Program, but my back has been bothering me lately. So, I have been getting on the treadmill, just not running as much as it says to on the program. I have some back and neck problems (due to some stuff I did when I was a kid and a couple car accidents and being prego 2x within 2 mo of each other and having huge boobs) that I have been to chiropractors for several times. They are lifesavers! Anyhow, my chiropractor had told me that running wouldn't be wise for me and may cause further injury to my back. (And I thought, What does he know?!?!) So, I've decided to take a break from the Couch to 5k and focus right now on strengthening my back and abs so that I have better support for my spine. I think this is smart since back and neck pain SUCKS and keeps me from doing everyday normal activities, like getting out of the bed by myself and lifting baskets of laundry. :)

By the way - I love my balance ball that I just started using this week!!!! Best invention since the treadmill!!!

    Yep, that's totally the way to go !!! If there's any chance that you will get hurt or aggravate the problem STOP !!!! I hope you can find some relief as that totally sucks !!!
