Stress, Busy Life and Personal Goals

Well, thought I would say a little about dealing with the stress of life and personal goals. Losing weight and exercising has provided me with some very positive things. Better health, more positive outlook, 2 promotions in the last year and better income. Now the negative side...the promotions have added additional responsibilties and stress. This on top of the new grandchild and my daughter moving back home. I find myself many times trying very hard to find the time (and motivation) to go out the door in the morning for my runs. Especially on the weekends when it seems that there is always work, or the grandchild, or the home that needs my attention! So, my nutrition has suffered as well as my exercise. However, I am determined to put myself first and starting Monday 10/20/08 I will get back on track. I will follow my nutritional guidelines, lose weight, run at least 5 days a week and I will not let work come first! I have learned that putting myself first was what gave me all of the positive things and that not putting myself first will also take them away. I have climbed this mountain before and I know what I can do. I will prevail!
