Sharing my November Goals...

Sunday, November 02, 2008

It is so hard to believe that this is already Novemeber..It seems like the time has gone by so fast and as I look back , the first thing that came to my mind was all of the things that I had not accomplished that I had wanted to, however I realized this was setting me up for some negative thinking and I refuse to go there so I chose to be thankful for the things I have accomplished, and for the many things I have learned this year as I have been on this journey.. I am also so very thankful for the different people that the Lord has brought into my life because they are so very special..
I used to never be a list maker or a goal setter because it seemed that I was always setting myself up for a disappointment, however now then the Lord has brought different people into my life and I see how setting goals is so very important and how it has helped them, so I am now in the learning process of setting goals..and am very excited about it because I have finally realized that you need a plan and a goal to get where you are wanting to go.. So I am sharing my November goals with all of you and I will be back to let you know how I did..
1. Lose 3 lbs.
2. Track my food daily
3. Finish Christmas Calendars
4. Start writing Christmas cards
5. Yoga relaxation - 3 x week, 20 minutes each
6. Complete one sewing project for Christmas present.
7. Contact 3 friends that I have not heard from for a while and spend some phone time with them.

I wish for all of you a wonderful week, and hope all of you are planning to finish this year with a strong finish...Even if we might not reach our goals, we can still go out with a great finish and we will be that much closer to our goal as we start the new year..
Hugs and Prayers,

Sherrilou, this was great to read this morning. You made my day! I will remember to also set goals and be positive. With God all things are possible. He makes all things clearly and this gives us the reason for continuing on! Amen,Sally

You have wonderful goals! I especially like that they are not all about you. I'm going to add some more goals myself. Sometimes we (I) get so focused on losing weight that it's "all about me." I'm keeping my eye on you this month. Have great success! emoticon

These are great goals. They are all measurable which is important. At the end of the month you can say YES I did or no I didn't. Not well maybe I did -- no fudging. But if a goal is not met it is still alright - you just have to figure out what kept you from meeting it. Sometimes it turns out that it just was not a priority.

    So proud of you! emoticon
