Slipped up

Okay, I have slipped up this past week. I think the cooler weather has made me want to store food for the winter or something like a big bear. Seems like all I have done in the last week is eat. I seem to know how to get the weight off, but maintaining seems to be the problem sometimes. When I slip up, I figure I really blew it and eat for several days and then get back on track. Yes, it is okay to screw up once in awhile but to go on eating bad for a week, there is just no excuse. Then you gain weight back and have to get it off again. Just doesn't make any sense. I am not real happy with myself right now. emoticon

    Completely understand where you are coming from. Time to get back on track. I know that you can do it. How about we walk Saturday and that will give us both something to feel good about. I didn't exercise for a week and this week is about me getting back on track with exercise. How about it?

    I get so angry with myself when I screw up. But I have learned that I don't blow it for the rest of the day. I get right back on the horse and go again. It takes so much work to lose weight that I get mad if I gain it due to my mess ups.
    So start again. You can do it.

    I totally know how you feel. I tend to also eat anything I can get my hands on when I know that I have blown it. I too am working at realizing that I am human and allowing myself one day to mess up. Then I get back on track and I am good to go.

    I know that you can do that too. Stop beating yourself up. We all mess up from time to time. The true test is realizing what we are doing and forgiving ourselves and getting back to what we know is what we really want.

    You are worth it. You deserve to be healthy.

    We all have those days, and they are tough. But you can do it. Get yourself back into the swing of things. And if you slip, just slip one day, don't beat yourself up for it. It is almost like you want to punish yourself several days after. Just remember, we are here for you. If you goof, give us a yell. We will help make your next day easier for you. Or at least we will try. emoticon
