MOVING AGAIN IS KEY
Tuesday, November 11, 2008
Boy, it feels great to make a conscious effort to move. No matter what type of movement I do I keep track of it. My six year old son and I took the dogs out for a walk the other day. To my surprise, we all had a blast! The dogs were excited to drag us along. Zach gave me a hug later to say that he really had fun spending time out and about with me. That encourages me to do that more often. Little Zach encourages me in other ways as well...he's been known to dig out my resistant bands for me to get my thoughts in the right place as well as reminding me to LOG ON to list my efforts for the day. How sweet is he? Who would think that my six year old would become my trainer?!
Everyone needs that bit of encouragement. We need that boost. We need that motivation. We all need someone who cares enough to push us or guide us along. Some of us have a trainer, some of us has a mate, a friend, support groups....mine just happens to be my loveable freckle faced son.
Thank you Zach!
