Day before weigh in

Official weigh-in is Satruday morning.

I am not expecting to show a loss. I'm not discouraged, though, because I now from past experience, when it's "that time" I always register a three pound gain.

I'm doing everything that I'm supposed to be doing -- eating properly, drinking my water, and getting in my cardio exercise, so even if the scale shows a gain, I know that official weigh in next week will register a big loss -- three pounds for sure, plus whatever else isn't water retention.

C'est la vie.

    Great way to stay upbeat! I agree that the way clothes fit is a better indicator of your progress. Just keep watching what you are eating, logging the information and you will succeed!

    I am doing a lot of baking this time of year. It is so hard not to snack on the goodies! I just keep reminding myself of how long it took to loose the 4 lbs that birthday cakes cost me (a whole week). Now I will just keep track of everything that goes in the mouth! Although I do plan to splurge on Thanksgiving. My only concession will be to use a small plate so I will be able to get less of my favorites!

    Good for you for not being discouraged! Sometimes we rely too much on the scale, when the way our clothes fit is a better weight loss indicator! I have to get more into that mindeset myself. Just continue to do what you're doing and the loss will show up!
