BOA - Week 12 Tuesday

Wednesday, December 10, 2008

Well now, this has been a very interesting week so far. I've ended my relationship with my SO of 8+ years and I've actually been struggling to make the low end of my calorie range. I've been exercising as usual so on the plus side a) I'm not eating my feelings and b) I may actually lose a pound or two this week.
Let me qualify this by saying, I'm not at all hungry, I'm full. Which makes me wonder if I've been eating my feelings all along. I know that I've been unhappy for a while with how things have been going...... I never seemed to be able to get full. I think I've just had an epiphany. Weird.
Anyway, tomorrow is bootcamp, an IFlow class and 4 hill run. Chas "owes" me a 30 minute workout so she's practicing her new routine on me. Incidently, IFlow is featured in the latest Impact magazine. It's pretty cool. A whole workout that looks like what would happen if Tai Chi married a resistance band. :~) I'm pretty psyched. (does anyone say that anymore? LOL)

Oh! and I lost 1/2 pound last week. Whoohoo!

Just realized that I haven't been following your blogs in awhile and wanted to say I'm sorry about the split from your significant other. It must be a difficult time for you and my thoughts are with you. I hope you still have a wonderful Christmas with your children and again, thank you so much for all you've done to help me reach my goal weight. You really inspired me when I started my weight loss journey and you continue to inspire me by your courage and your commitment to health during such a difficult time. You're a hero!

Tai Chi + resistance band = WHY DIDN'T THEY THINK OF THIS BEFORE?
It sounds uber cool! I'd be psyched too!

I'm sorry about your emotional eating (under calories) due to your current situation. It is possible that you've been eating too much all along (I hear Ghandi did a similar experiment on himself!) You might be very pleasantly surprised, and discovered yet another epiphany about your body!!!

    All the best, Penny!

Just taking some time to catch up tonight, and see your blog. Iflow sounds like something I'd enjoy. I'm glad you aren't eating your feelings, but make sure you are getting the right stuff, even if you're below. I read on Facebook that you might be getting eggs & baking all weekend in the cold. Rock on!

I saw your updated status on Facebook.... Emotional eating can be very insidious - a bit here, a bit there for no apparent reason, it adds up, eh?

Iflow sounds great although my hyperactive imagination has me conjuring all sorts of weird tai chi/resistance band offspring... Is this a GoodLife thing? And WTG on the weightloss!
