My WW Journey Begins

01/20/09:

I am now a week and 4 days into starting back to Weight Watchers. I decided that I need to go to meetings and I re-joined. I lost 9.6 pounds the first week and I am working on my second week now.
I am doing ok so far. I have been watching that show called "Ruby" on the style channel and she has given me a lot of inspiration. She talks about fighting the "beast". You know, hunger beast, craving beast, etc. Last night I was wanting to graze and I just ate within my points and then I went to bed...lol. I figure I won that battle by going to bed. Her show is great and it really struck a cord in me and it clicks. I am fighting a battle everyday to to beat this weight beast that has controlled a lot of what I do and limits me in things I want to do. I get it this time. I really get it. I have to do this. I want to be in control of what I eat and not let the food control me. I have a lot of weight to lose so I am just setting small goals for myself. My first small goal is to lose 15 pounds by the end of February. I think that is an achievable goal emoticon.
