Clean Bill of Health

Tuesday, January 20, 2009

I went to the dr. yesterday and my blood pressure is the lowest it has ever been--118/72. My med's are still correct and my cholesterol is 171, lower than 3 years ago.

Amazing, how even a little consistent exercise can help you solve your own life's problems. It makes sense how you should exercise, but sometimes it is hard. The excuses add up and then before you know it you've stopped.

My goal: take one day at a time. Be consistent and stay with it. Good things will happen.

Hey Lindsay, YOU SWEET TART!! This is an awesome blog with great results at your doctor's appointment. Terrific readings on your BP and your cholesterol lower than 3 years ago!! WooHoo!!

You are right on, isn't it encouraging how AMAZING our BODIES are and how fast it responds to just a little bit of love and kindness. I often think, WOW how great it will be after I have been on my program for another year. One of my Long Term Goals is to be free of all medication. I am taking medication to control my BP currently. I have been able to reduce one of my BP meds with just one year on Spark. I'm looking forward to being able to stop taking one of the meds this year.

I want to encourage you to stick with your plan. Taking small baby steps that are achievable will build your confidence and as you see results you will be more and more motivated to stay on the BAND wagon. YOU ARE DOING IT!!

ALL MY BEST TO YOU!! emoticon emoticon
