VALENTINE'S DAY 2/14/09

I had a different Valentine' s Day than usual. My DH said to me, do you want to do something we never did before for a change. I was game! Well what we did was go out for a nice breakfast instead of dinner. I really did enjoy this, getting out early this morning instead .
Then we took a nice stroll by this new golf course that was recently built. It's absolutely breath taking. Streams, running water everywhere and a beautiful stone & slate garden. it looks so beautiful now in the winter, I can imagine in the spring and summer how gorgeous it's going to look.
This evening my DH then ordered food from our favorite restaurant, which he placed an order
last week & they catered it & brought it over at 4:00 PM. today. He set the table /w/candles and I must say he did a really nice thing. We had appetizers & a delicious meal also. I was good, & didn't indulge, and enjoyed the meal very much.
I really appreciate the time & effort he put into this. Like I stated, we never did Valentine's Day this way, it was always dinner. I had a wonderful day.
I guess I'll have to keep him!
