week 1, day 3 of my 5K training

I was debating if I should do a whole 5K's on the
today or do 2 miles and see how I do compare to my 1st time ever walking/jogging this past Friday.
It's a 25 min drive to the gym, enough time to figure out what to do - so by the time we got there, I had decided to do another 2 miles and compare my time.
day 1, 02-13-09: my time for 2 miles - 29.30 minutes
day 3, 02-15-09: my time for 2 miles - 27.57 minutes
I DID IT!!! I feel
about my accomplishment.
After my walk/jog I rode the virtual bike for about 20 min for 4.5 miles.
Our DD was shooting
while I was working out and the plan was to go
afterwards, BUT......we didn't, the pool was way too packed today, lots of families with little children, so we just went home.
Took some ME time once we got home, took a nice bubble bath and read my EAT CLEAN DIET WORKOUT book and now I'm fixing to put a new strength workout routine for myself together.
I WILL BE LOOKING GOOD THIS SUMMER!!!! 2009 is MY YEAR TO SHINE!!!!
