Just little things I've learned:
Be patient with yourself....As we all know, we didn't gain the weight overnight and getting rid of it (I prefer that to "losing it", as that implies it can be "found" again!) won't happen overnight either...A lot depends on how much you can love yourself at your current weight/lifestyle and continue to do so as even better changes occur....
If you are feeling frustrated, relax, breathe deeply...Your body has to become accustomed to what is going on, and it's "survival" techniques can sometimes cause you to slow down or plateau. Try to ramp up your exercise routine, or start one; of if you are feeling low, try a "Universe Hug": Wrap your left arm around yourself, then your right arm around yourself. You are now the center of your universe. Close your eyes and gently remind yourelf that "you are special", that you are deserving of all the good that life offers, and that when you feel unloved you can still love yourself!
Most of all, don't fight what's happening. If you can learn to lovingly accept your body, your life, your situation, just as they are right now, any negatives about them will soon dissolve...because what we resist, persists....Love your body, your life and your self, knowing that the appropriate changes to all are coming, joy is coming, completenes is coming; and they are what you deserve!
