So yesterday I confessed to one of the message boards that I have been craving these Hershey's Candy Coated Milk Chocolate Eggs for days and days. On the board, I said I was planning to buy them, portion them into individual servings, and freeze them to eat one serving at a time. Seriously, it was kind of sick how much I had been obsessing over these darn eggs (just ask the bf - I was talking like a drug addict looking to score).
So, today, when I did my grocery shopping, I bought a bag of the desired eggs. I started eating them on the way home from the store (I know, bad move to eat in the car.) Before I stopped, I had eaten 16 of them (which is two servings, according the bag) for a grand total of 340 calories! Luckily, by the time I hit #16, I had bagged up the rest into little 4-egg (85 calorie) portions and popped them in the freezer.
I've logged the eggs into my tracker, and yes they're going to skew my fat/carb ratios today, but I'm still within my calorie range, so I'm just not letting it bother me. The best part is that I'm not PERSEVERATING on those darn eggs like I was before. Finally, the little mini binge is behind me, and I'm back in control. This just shows me that, every once in a while, it's best just to do it, get it over with, and get back on the boat! You know what I mean?!?!
