Color Crayons

A box of crayons with so many colors.
A coloring book to color in.
A picture so bright it must
be yellow.
The color of sunshine, shining
down on you.

The color blue, for a blue,
blue sky.
The color white for the clouds
passing by.

Upon a hillside the color of
green, grass, leaves and
evergreens.
The color of brown the
dirt we walk on, tree trunks,
limbs, and squirrels running
around.

The color of gray is a rainy
day.
The color of black is the dark
of night.
The color of silver is a shining
star twinkling away from
afar.

The color of pink is the sun
when it sets.
The color of red is a rose in
bloom.
This picture is left with one
more color.
The color purple meaning
you are perfect.

There is none other like
you in this world.
I lay out the crayons one
by one, and add a rainbow
after the rains are done.
