Thank You

Thank you for inspiring me in writing my poetry.
A word, a picture, a gesture, and you.
Many things make up a poem.
Life's experiences and feelings, and
love.

Life does not consist of only positivity.
There is sadness, pain, and hurt.
All these can be turned around with
help from a friend, and someone who
cares.

Not all poems rhyme. Not all songs
are sung.
Some friends stay, some just are
passing through.

With all life has to offer, so much
to do.
Sometimes we fail keeping in contact
with you.
Don't let this sadden you, remember
it's life.

Smile when you are feeling blue.
Laugh when you are sad.
Sing a song that hasn't been sung.
Live the life you have.

Thank you for being you, sharing
what you have.
Every day all things are new,
just sharing them with you.
