Zumba and stacking wood. Full body workout!

Saturday, April 04, 2009

Today is an insane day. I worked out 5 hours. I am so tired and of course cold because it was chilly outside today. First thing this morning I had a Zumba class at my house. The instructor only charges 20 an hour to teach in my house and I thought that was great! So my cousins could not make it today and Amy missed it too because she had to work. Luckily my oldest daughter and her friend did the work out with me. It was so much fun.
I just finished lunch when Dana came home for a minute. So I grabbed some gloves and my coat and ran out the door. In MA we had so much icedamage in our area from the icestorm on December 11th. There is so much clean up to do. So we have been going to this man's house and clearing brush, cutting and taking the wood home. This is the third week of hauling wood. I did it for 4 hours. I am so tired and sore. When i looked up on line, i have burned more than 2000 calories today between Zumba and the wood!
I just had a cup of tea and some almonds and I don't really care what i eat for dinner tonight, but I think i am going to try again to have a cocktail, some ibuprofen and hit the hay. I am sure that I will sleep great tonight. Tomorrow I have my training session with lynn and I am hoping that I do not wear a smoothie tomorrow. LOL
I feel very tired, but wonderful because I accomplished so much. And I spent the day with my husband. And I like doing that.

I love working with my hubby too! I'm glad you got to do that today, even if you nearly killed yourself with all that exercise.

So is Zumba fun? I've seen it advertised around town, but haven't actually seen a class. Guess I could look online - bet YouTube has it.

Enjoy your ibuprofen and sleep tonight.

Hope tomorrow is sunny and warm - we are having sunshine today and it's to be in the 70s tomorrow! YIPPEE!
