I normally don’t quit in the middle of a training program but I am going to put the 5k on the back burner.
As I was using the treadmill the other day someone got on the treadmill next to me within a few seconds time difference and was jogging at 6.5. I was on incline 12 at 4.3. After 10 minutes I looked at him about to pass out and checked his calorie count and mine was higher than HIS!
I could never run at 6.5 but if I could why would I? I was as cool as a cucumber. I wasn’t even sweating! Well…. Maybe a little. He couldn't’t even finish 30 minutes and I get about 400 calories in 30 minutes. Right now I am all about burning off as many calories as I can. After I reach my goal maybe I will try jogging again.
Anyway, I can’t wait to bathe in my spa with candles lit all around me for the challenge this week instead of training for 5k.
