Slow & Steady = Great Rewards

I have been with SparkPeople for 3 months. I started out with small changes. At first I just recorded what I ate, and realized how many calories I was consuming! Slowly, I began to eat within the recommendations on the Food Tracker. Sometimes I go over, but I am usually able to stay within the recommended calorie range.
The first couple of months I did one Boot Camp workout per day. Last month I did two per day, six days a week. I have gotten so much stronger! Sometimes it is hard to get up early and do this, but I do and I feel wonderful after my workout with Nicole! I try to walk or run 3-6 days a week. I definitely have room for improvement in this area.
My weight loss has been slow at times. Sometimes I have gone for 3 weeks without losing weight, but over the three months, I have lost almost 15 lbs! People at work have been asking me how much weight I have lost. My clothes are loose and I feel so much stronger.
The great thing is, that I haven't made any changes that I couldn't continue throughout my life. It is comforting to know that I won't have to worry about gaining the weight back when I reach my goal, because I am happy to make these changes a permanent part of my life.
