My Last Time...

Today we are going into the city (Chicago) for the last time. We're probably going to The John Hancock building to eat in the Signature room. It's $15 to go to the top of the building or you can get a meal for the same price and have a great view. Then we'll go to the Lincoln Park Zoo, which is free, but cost $17 for parking (nothing is ever free, except Sparks hahaha)! And last, but not least Navy Pier to see Lake Michigan! I can't wait to see the ocean again. Lake Michigan is big, but it's definitely not the same.

It's suppose to be 75 degrees today so we should have a great time. The next 2 days might rain.

My brother in law came yesterday and my dogs will not stop barking at him. So we will definitely be tired during this move. I was sleeping 8-9 hours a night and last night it was only 6!

    WOW ~ 8-9 hours of sleep??? I can only dream about that emoticon You definitely have an adjustment going on in the sleep department! You will catch up soon, I am sure!

    My son, next to the oldest, will be leaving in the fall for college in Chicago. He is counting the days...Chicago has a special spot in people's hearts! We visited once and I just fell in love with it ~ I don't think I would want to live there, but we plan to be there again next year and every couple of years go back! Our "family" rule is that we have to go to cities with a major league baseball team...we take in a game every vacation! We will just have to plan right to get both teams in next time!

    I hope all goes well. Are you sad to be leaving? Chicago is some place I'd love to visit and is on my list of places to go to before I die (mostly to see the Oprah show..tee hee). Hopefully, the dogs will adjust to your brother, too. Seems like they don't have a choice..lol.
