It happened again.

Uggh.... it happened again! I had to get some blood drawn and they asked for a photo i.d. I gave the guy my license and he looks at me, looks at the picture, looks at me, looks at the picture and then says "Wow, you have really changed since this picture. Is this really you?" and I tell him it is me. He KEEPS GOING! "Oh man, what is this, like a really old picture?" I'm thinking to myself, okay so you're telling me I'm fat and old. I tell him it's not that old of a picture, it was only four years ago. And he KEEPS GOING. "Well, I hope your passport has a more recent picture because I bet they wouldn't believe it's you." I had nothing left to say... I guess he picked up on my hostility... so he then began to ramble and I just tuned him out.

This has happened numerous times now. It makes me so sad. emoticon I don't even look like me anymore! Who am I? emoticon

This is my license pic from 2005 and my recent school ID as of January 2009. Now I know my school pic is not a good pic, but still!

    The person you are hasn't changed just because you have physically... don't let this guy's ugly and rude comments bring you down... turn them into motivation. Everytime you get tired of following the rules, remember this jerk. Everytime you are faced with a decision of eating right or not, remember this jerk. Everytime you think oh I'll put off exercising or I'll park by the door, remember this jerk. Don't let the jerks of this world get you down. Honey hold your head high and just know that you may be overweight, but he is a jerk and you are losing but he will still be a jerk.

    Maybe you should have reduced yourself to HIS game.
    You could have asked him for his ID and asked what he looked like 4 years before
    when he responded, you could have told him that he looked like a jerk then and apparently STILL is a jerk, LOL, and that you could NOT trust him to take your blood anyway,

    sorry, but sometimes when you are handed a lemon
    you either make lemonade or squeeze the lemon in their eyes

    who are you? You are still the person you have always been. We get so hung up on what we believe our reflection in the mirror is, that who we really are gets lost.

    Do you respect life and find joy in each day? Do you try to do something each day that betters your heart and soul?

    If yes, then you are special and beautiful.

    There will always be buttheads out there that have no clue about anything. The hell with them.
