my foot is hurting

So things are going to get worse before they get better. I can accept that. I have to.
I went for my foot consultation yesterday and indeed I have acute plantar fasciitis in my left foot. I have known this all spring, but I have not been as kind to myself as I could have been in my quest to get fit.
So I have hit a detour and I need to make a plan. I can do it. So here is my plan:
PT two times a week. She is planning on ultrasounds, deep muscle massages and exercises to help stretch muscles in my feet to increase my range of motion.
Foot orthodics, I will get them next week.
Tweak my exercise program. The high angles on the cross ramp and elliptical are out.
Higher intensity, lower resistance. I can do that. I know that tuesday night i tried the higher intensity with resistance and that in combonation with my foot consultation, my foot is aching today.
Weight training. I am not going to let myself sit on the couch because i do not feel good. I have done that in the past and it does not work.
I will work with my trainer to come up with a plan.
I can do this.
