Grrrrrr....

Plateau shmateau, this has been a trying few weeks. I've been trying to bust though it via running and changing my weight routines however I'm just not seeing the numbers move as steadily as I'd like. I've slowly increased my running to 45 minutes a day and reduced the elliptical time accordingly. I'm doing a combined 850-900 calories daily along with weight lifting. I am seeing a progressive improvement in my midsection but I'd sure like Dr.Evil emoticonto show me a smaller number sometime soon. I know the last 10-15 Lbs are the hardest but geez!

    I would imagine running would be the same dealio.. run flat out as hard as you can for 30 seconds.. then go normal for 10.. do this for at least 4 min but no more than 8 min and you should see results according to TABATA.. I googled it after hearing about it on here.. best of luck again.. interesting to see how this all plays out..

    hEY .. TABATA and Jillian Michaels both say that changing it up as in 3 min cardio 2 min strength and 1 min stretch is the most powerful way to workout.. her 30 day shred vid is BRUTAL.. according to TABATA you go INTENSE For 30 sec then rest for 10 do this for 4 min... so say you're biking .. go flat out as HARD AS YOU CAN.. for 30 seconds.. then rest for 10 seconds.. do this till 4 min are up... switch to treadmill .. they say a max of 8 min a day should rent some results.. sounds good to me.. I only have an elliptical trainer at home so I'm going to do it.. and Jillian freaking kicks my but on LEVEL 1.. there are 3 levels.. so anyway I can only handle her a little bit.. don't want to burn out.. I'm switching between her and the other biggest loser vids with Bob Harper.. I tried his boot camp , and the Yoga.. wow.. new respect for Yogis! lol I ordered a mat which should help and a body ball because Jillian has you doing BICYCLE ab ex.. UGGGGGH very very intense.. my back was ACHING! anyway best of luck to you and I truly believe changing it up might just be the key.. Way to go on all tat RUNNING!!! emoticon
