I made it back!!!

This is not just a blog, it's a "I've missed everyone but now I'm back" and "Boy have I got a lot to share with everyone!!".
My last blog was on Sep 28, 2008. At that time I had just gotten back on Sparkpeople after we had moved into the 5th wheel (now called the Gypsy Wagon). I was maintaining my 50 pound loss so I weighed in at 190 or so (up or down 1 pound). I left on my drive to Florida for our cruise shortly after that. Here's where the road went south, at least diet wise. I "fast-fooded" my way across Florida, went on the cruise where I ate, drank, and was very merry. We "fast-fooded" it back and then it was Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc. The next thing I knew I wasn't 190 anymore on the good-old truck scale at work, I was 206!!! So on March 31st, I made the following goals:
1. Get back to wear I could breathe in my jeans.
2. Get back into ALL the clothes I had bought that were now hanging in my closet.
3. Get back on track!!!
The single biggest goal I had was to get back on Sparkpeople. Now most people would just sign back on, update their ticker to reflect the gain, and drive on. Oh no, not me. I swore to myself that the day I could update my ticker to LESS THAN 190 was the day I would sign back on. Guess what??? Today's the day!!! I accomplished my goal and so I'm back. My weight this morning was 183.2 (which would be 188 on the truck scale at work).
Why I am writing all this? To remind everyone that even if you slip and fall, GET BACK UP and get back on track!!! If I can, ANYONE can.
In other news, I drove to Florida again last month to go on another cruise. I stuck to my plan all the way there, ate drank and was more than merry on the cruise, and then stuck to my plan on the way home and guess what? I weighed the same when I got home as I did when I left. That's not to say I didn't gain on the cruise, I did, but I had lost enough on the way and one the way home to break even.
P.S. My "can't breathe" jeans are almost ready for Goodwill and the new capris I had to buy for the cruise were size 16s!!!!!
P.S.S. I've also posted new pics for folks to look at from both October's cruise and this one (I weighed the same on both but they were 7 months apart. So no weight loss for 7 months but I'll take it. Hang in there SPARKERS!!!!
