Eating while bored

So yesterday was a bad day for me. I was feeling lazy when I got home from work and did not feel like making anything for dinner and I really wanted tacos but didn't have the stuff to make them anyway so I ended up going to taco bell which in turn equaled alot of calories. So then I was sitting around after eating trying to think of stuff to do to keep my hands busy and my mind of snacking when my fiancée came home. He was hungry so I was like great here it is like 1000pm and now he wants to eat. What did he want White Castles so I went and got him so food and thought I want a sm. shake so I got one not intending on drinking the whole thing but just enough to satisfy my taste. Well there sm. is a med. I hate that when people order a sm. That's what they want so I get home and he's eating and of course what did I do not even thinking grabbed 2 cheeseburgers and started eating. I wish I could overpower myself sometimes. So I told myself its ok and today I have been doing very good. At work they were having chinese and there was texas sheet cake so I left for lunch and went to subway and got a fit meal and some apples for my afternoon snack. So for sure today I am going to the grocery store to get some healthier snacks.

    Sounds like a rough day yesterday, like MANDA said below it'll get easier!!

    Kudos to you for going out to lunch and getting Subway today! That right there shows you definitely have the willpower to do it :)

    Itll get easier in time. Right now it's habit for you to go home and eat badly. Same as it was for me, ya know? Eventually it'll get to the point where u wont even think about it, youll just know its unacceptable. You can have treats too from time to time.

    My advice would be to make stuff that can last several days. That way you don't have to be in the mood to cook to eat well. Also, having those healthy snacks will help too. Instead of having a shake, u could have had a chocolate covered pretzel 100 cal pack....mmmm. Even a bowl of cereal as a snack won't undo your whole day. There are tons of options. Just try to keep the amount of sugar in check. It's the enemy lol

    Im very proud u woke up and got right back on track, that definitely shows youre serious and shows me you'll do great. :)
