The Energizer Bunny

My full intent was to take a 30 minutes walk...it didn't end up that way. We live in a new neighborhood with so many places to walk and I always see something new. The weather was absolutely gorgeous this evening and I just didn't want to stop. My little dog crapped out on me so I dropped her off, refilled my water and continued my brisk walk. I was even treated by two Military jets flying over (we live VERY close to the airport) and since I am a Military mom and our family is aviation fans...I was thrilled to see them.

My little jaunt ended at 3.65 miles for a total of 60 minutes and a little over 300 calories burned. The further I walked the more relaxed my legs got and I concentrated on keeping my abdomen in.

Walking has to be my favorite form of exercise along with using my wonderful treadmill. I still fight with myself getting strengthening workouts in cuz well...I hate them. There...I said it. I promise I will work on that area cuz I know that is the only way I will get the wiggly gigglies out of me. When I wave at people while I walk I just hate having my arm flab sending greetings along with my hand waving. God...I hate that.

Until tomorrow's installment... nighty night my sweet peeps!
