Keep On Keeping On

Monday, June 08, 2009

Hello everyone. I have been missing in action for a while. I have been busy and need to get another computer. I am using the libraries. I am doing fine. working alot, and I have a new apartment with lost of bills. I am still with my boyfriend Larry. We have now been together for 12 months. He is a wonderful person. We hope to get married in the near future. Please keep us in your prayers. I just wanted to say that no matter what you are going through and or are facing in life., just keep on keeping on. Hold on to the Lord and don't give up. My battle has not been easy. Even with having a new boyfriend I have many challenges. I can at times be set in my ways and want things my way since I have been alone for so long. I have just turned 48 today which is my birthday. I feel fine but I am going through this perimenopause stuff and it is crazy at times with hot flashes and mood swings and sometimes just plain old tired. Especially since I have sinus problems. I nonetheless feel blessed to see my birthday. I am keeping on and holding on no matter what comes my way. I am staying focused on the goal to achieve all that the Lord has for me and to not grow weary in well doing for I will reap if I faint not. Men can be challenging. I want to at times be single again but I know that the Lord has given me a good man, it is just that they act much different than women and they can be a pain in the butt at times. lol But for the most part they can be a blessing, especially when you have alot in common with them. Know that God knows what is best for you and he will see you through even though it looks hard. I know this for a fact. Life gets hard at times. Finances seem small at times but the Lord still makes a way out of no way. If it were not for the Lord on my side, I know that my life would be useless and I would be very promiscuous but God who is rich in mercy and grace has sustained me and kept me even when I didn't want to be kept. It is hard living a saved life and still craving sex, sex and more sex but the Lord is seeing me through this phase until marriage. Marriage is not for sex only but for a committed relationship. I used to get married to make sex legal as being a christian but that is not Gods will. He wants us to learn how to wait on him and be patient. Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. Stay focused and know that as long as you keep GOd on your side you can have whatsoever you ask for according to the power that works in you mightily. Evangelist Donna Hall
