What a difference a day makes!

Thursday, June 11, 2009

I feel as good this evening as I felt crappy last night and I am thankful for that. I made a discovery today. I researched the craptastic bathroom scale I have right now and you know what I found? People have had ALOT of problems with it keeping your last weight in the memory AND NOT CHANGING! I have suspected that for awhile and finally got sick and tired of dealing with it. I ordered a Tanita today after more research (I research EVERYTHING!!!!) and cannot wait until it gets here. I hope it says anything but 152 for crying out loud!!!!!!!! I feel better in my clothes and changes can be seen in my face. Oh and my blood pressure readings are improving!!!! I see the doctor tomorrow and discuss the possibility of going off Lipitor since the damn insurance company is raising absolute hell! Away with them! I will deal with it NATURALLY and I don't need no stinkin' pills! SO there!

That is my day in a nutshell and you all know whats next...

Nighty night my Sparktastic peeps!

eta...now is a good time to use my favorite emoticon...

Laurie, I noticed my scale acting up too so I have been grabbing a large bottle of laundry soap so it weighs more with me and then I weigh again without the bottle of soap. I know, sounds kinda nutty but it seems to make the scale start to work again. I probably need to look into getting a new scale too.

Enjoy your day! Hope your dr. visit goes well!

Isn't it crazy that we let a silly number on a scale determine our mood for the day? (I know from experience). Think how much better your day would have been had you just celebrated the fact that you had lost inches and your face is getting thinner. I think we should all take a scale vacation. I have actually stopped weighing myself every day (I still weigh myself at least 3 times a week).

I also have a Tanika scale that is at least 8 years old and I have never had a problem with it.

I hope tomorrow you feel as good as you do today.
