Remember that Sparker...

Friday, June 12, 2009

...that found herself on three differnt meds? Well that same Sparker now has just one med and I don't give a rip if I ever get off that one cuz it helps tremendously with water retention. I told my doctor all about Sparkpeople.com and I seriously think she is going to tell her patients that need to lose weight or need a lifestyle change about Spark.

MOST IMPORTANTLY...my blood pressure readings are finally back to normal! This is a prime example why a person need sto get out and move when diagnosed with high blood pressure.

Wishing all my fellow Sparkers Sparktastic dreams...

Nighty Night my Spark peeps...

You know I was given a prescription for high blood pressure in February and another in March. I chose to NOT fill the March one but opted to get a BP machine to monitor myself and I'm happy to report that my BP has been normal since then. I think my doctor's comment made me do it lol... I asked - do I have to be on these meds forever and she said ... well unless you plan on losing 50lbs ... well it's like someone daring me so I'm proving her wrong! I haven't lost 50lbs but with my exercise and healthier eating, I'm on my way to a healthier weight.

    Congrats on your success too!

Great to hear! You are so right about getting out and moving. It works! And you are proof of that now too! Less meds is always better!
It must have been such a good feeling leaving the dr. office. Enjoy your Saturday!
