My 3.85 mile walk including "Hamburger Hill"

Sunday, June 14, 2009

I ventured out and about our neighborhood and I decided to take some streets I had never been on. I told hubby that I will be gone about an hour so I already had it in mind I would take a long one. I never knew just how many hills there are around here and then there was Hamburger Hill. This sucker is steep and curvy and I decided I had better do just half way down and back and its a good thing I did. I was seriously thinking about plopping down on the curb to take a breather but I decided just to keep going. The entire trek around the neighborhood took about 70 minutes and it was wonderful.

That is about it for tomight...

Nighty night my Sparktastic peeps!

Good for you girl and brave. We have a hill that is
steep also and call it Camel's Hump. The top can
be tricky when not be able to see any cars come
until ya get up there and makes a great place to
sledride when we were kids oh of course they
    don't do that much anymore.

Sounds like a great walk and a great neighborhood to get it done in! I live in the country aka bears and other wild creatures! On Saturday a bear came into the yard at 2 in the afternoon. When I walk I have to keep going back and forth over the same part on the road until I reach my set amount of minutes. You are so lucky to have lots of different streets to turn down. Great going on the 70 minute walk! Enjoy your day, off to work now.
