What is Wrong With Me?

I am starting to sleep 10-11 hours a night. What is wrong with me? Is it my way of hiding from my situation or do I really need the sleep? I think I need to analyze my life right now. I heard menopause makes you sleep more, but I already stopped with the hot flashes. Do the symptoms come in sections or all at once? Hmmmmmm!

    OH DEAR! Menopause for me only started with hot flashes. There is lots more. Memory problems, emotional rollercoasters, depression, ah... for me an increase in libido which is nice... Mmm sleeping could be hormones...or viral so your body is fighting something..... or emotional. I also heard on the news that some cleaners can trigger chronic fatigue.... another possibility is you are depleted in some vitamin or mineral. Who knows. I think our body clocks sometimes take over too. I think you are doing a good thing being aware of it. I went through a phase of needing an afternoon nap too. It has passed now but it was pretty weird. Lasted a whole summer. All I needed was ten minutes but until I could find a comfy place to lay my head my eyes refused to stay open. Other possibilities: sleep apnea, sleep disturbances (something waking you up or interrupting your sleep that you don't notice). Do you wake up feeling rested or tired? If you feel rested then I don't think it is a problem. If you are still tired then there may be something you need to address. emoticon
