An unexpected success

After being gone for a long weekend at the inlaws in Missouri I experienced an unexpected success...a 2 lb. weightloss. After struggling to lose anything and eating very well and getting physically active...things are starting to happen. My body must have needed to simply get its act together.

Before heading down I did alot of planning of food items I would take and it truly paid off. I missed walking/running two days and I was afraid I was going to lose momentum. Nope...I had a successful run (albeit slowly) this morning and it felt pretty easy actually.

I bought groceries after work today I had to take time to marvel at my cart with all the good stuff in there. I had produce out the wazoo and a huge assortment of healthy stuff. The worst thing was salted nut rolls for Jim. Wow...I have come a long way in a short amount of time.

    Great news! 2 lbs. is a huge loss! I think planning what to eat makes such a difference and you just proved that fact. I know I stay on track better if I plan ahead.
    I love looking in my cart too and seeing so much produce. Doesn't it just make you feel good to unload the cart so the checkout person and the people in line behind you can see how much healthy stuff you bought?!
