The Tortoise

I think I need to take a step back and remember to be like a Tortoise. I have been so busy working that I am not planning my meals which is leading to some high caloric intake. Ok so I'm busy, what do I do? I grab cheese and crackers for a snack, not bad right. Wrong, not when you eat almost all the cheese in the package. I had some cheese and Triscuits. Now I didn't do too bad on calories today,but its not good when almost of it consists of Monterey Jack and Colby with Triscuits (Garden Herb of course). Now had I slowed down maybe I would have stopped and counted out the crackers and cheese. So my point, be a tortoise if you want to win the race! emoticon

    Yikes ... this is me! I've been doing the same thing. Doesn't help that I love cheese!

    How thin do you try to slice off a piece from the cheese block?

    Mine are almost transparent .. which is a good thing until I realize .. half of the cheese block was devoured in about 15 minutes!!

    Today I managed to stay away from the cheese .. but not the crackers ... tomorrow .... no way ... I'm heading for the yogurt instead.
