Peanut butter is EVIL!

Thursday, July 16, 2009

If anyone peruses my food tracker they will notice that not a day goes by where my spoon doesn't dip into a jar of peanut butter. OMG! I love the stuff and if I have a food that will give me problems...it the sticky gooey oh so yummy stuff. The only utensil I need to consume peanut butter is a spoon. If all teh spoons are dirty, a fork will do. I have tried so many different brands including brands I have never heard of and even those are wonderful. I do have a jar that I picked up in the health food section that is pure crap. Perhaps I shall work on that yucky jar til its gone and then I will get a jar of a much yummier brand.

I need serious intervention.

I am not sure if PB is from heaven or hell but if PB is wrong I don't want to be right. I eat it every day on an apple, that makes it more healthy, I don't care what anybody else says it's true for me and I am sticking to it. lol.

I'm a closet Peanut Butter and Strawberry Jam addict.....I have to have it. I've learned to just add it into my calories for each day and then deal with it. I've actually went to the grocery store very very late at night just to get Peanut Butter so I can have a PB&J before I go to sleep.

My dad would get up in the night and use his finger to get a "blob" of peanut butter. After we found out he was doing that he got his own "special jar" that was his and his alone.......

On a wierd note, my 15-yr. old son doesn't care for peanut butter at all. How crazy is that?

Peanut butter is pure evil! I feel like I have a love for it now more so than I ever had! Hungry Girl has a peanut butter milk shake that is very yummy! I need to have one of those soon. You use better'n peanut butter which isn't good plain but fine when I mix it in with things! Have a great Friday!

emoticon on signing up for the Eager Beaver! I'll see you there. Tristin is going to do the 1 mile too I think!

Oh sign me up for the Peanut Butter team too! I have no less than 6 open jars at once. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Peanut Butter & Co. brand of PNB. Right now I have 1) White Chocolate Wonderful, 2) Dark Chocolate Dreams 3) The Bees Knees (PNB & Honey), 4) The Heat is On (Makes a great Peanut Satay for Noodles) 5) Crunch Time, 6)Cinnamon Raisin Swirl & then there is the standard Jif, Jif Crunchy and Jif PNB & Honey (the Jif is not mine, but to each their own!) I too eat it with a spoon, but My favorite Breakfast right now is Thomas' Berry English Muffins with White Chocolate Wonderful PNB melted on top! I'll go to your intervention, but I'll bring some PNB to share!

I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER TOO!!! Although, I can't say that I eat it everyday! LOL... I eat the reduced fat peanut butter, and although it is not as good, it helps save on the fat!

I always prefer to spread the peanut butter on something like crackers, toast or celery. That way you can take more time preparing the food so that it is easier to eat less of it!

I agree it is hard not to eat a lot of peanut butter, but make sure you keep track of each spoonful! (They can add up!)

    Good Luck,

    Cathy

I seriously think it would be a BIG SPark Team! We could have one huge group peanut butter intervention.

Oy, I feel the same way and it is the same way! emoticon I think that don't get enough fats in my day so I make excuses to eat the lovely, brown gook. Then I look at my nutrition and it always ends up that I didn't need it in the first place! emoticon I think that we should start a group, PBA (Peanut Butter Anonymous) or something because it's a problem (but an oh so wonderful, YUMMY problem.)
