Stress eating! Why do I do it?
I went out for lunch with my hubby yesterday to a really cute little bakery/sandwich place.
I made a pretty good choice with a half sandwich/half salad combo, but then proceeded to eat a huge peanut butter cookie. Last night we really weren't hungry for dinner so we went to get ice cream instead. Why do I do that when I know it's not a healthy choice? Stress eating! I found out Georgia teachers were being furloughed 3 days yesterday and that threw me into stress eating mode! Today's a new day and I WILL make better choices:)

    Just making those choices even one meal at a time may be the goal for the stressful times. Try Sorbet instead of icecream. My husband is lactose intolerant so icecream is not on the menu at all which saves me!!
    I just got a call asking/telling me to come in 3 hours late today due to no patients until later this afternoon. I look at this as a bit of a bonus today as it is still summer, trying to put a positive spin on today.
    It is not always easy.
    Make the stress eating healthy, ie Luna bars, veggies, fruit etc.

    Keep moving, keep smiling.
