Hope you made it through the anniversary ok. I usually have troubles on the first of the year on the anniversary of my grandmother's death. I usually take some time that afternoon and relax with a cup of coffee and take a stroll through some photo albums.

I am grateful to have my mother still with me. I am sure she is up there feeling similar to my mother at this point...so proud of me she's pointing out my successes to her friends at work (who have never met me), asking me for new pictures of me so she can show them off to her friends, commenting when we have a lull in conversation on our visits, "I just can't get over how amazing you look. I'm so proud of you." She's even trying to learn exercises I'm doing and learn more about the details of running competitively ("Is that a good speed? How long is a half marathon?") so that she can enjoy all of my successes, not just the weight itself.
I'm sure yours is just as proud and is just as excited for you as you are for yourself. 4199 days ago

I'm sure you are. My daughter has weight issues and I know if she turned it around I would be so proud and happy for her! 4199 days ago
