It just keeps amazing me how much energy I have nowdays! I honestly didn't know that would be one of the benefits to eating better and getting physically active. I'm sure someone must have told me that along the way, but of course I wouldn't have believed it. It's so funny, it's almost like energy generates energy (very zen, eh?)! It seems like the more I do and accomplish, the more I get psyched up to go on to the next thing. A few months ago I could barely keep the dishes washed and the laundry done, forget about sweeping floors and all that other jazz. These days I'm painting walls, putting in laminate flooring, doing the mowing and weeding at home AND at mom's (well, mowing anyway, still working on the weeding and weed eating!) Besides all that, there are still 9 dogs and a whole bunch of cats that need to be fed, watered, loved and played with every day, and I'm taking online classes to be a personal trainer (which are wayyyy tougher than a person might think) and studying to be a massage therapist too. Oh yeah, then there's looking after hubby's business and my own! Geez, I think it's a dang good thing I found this energy supply when I did! All kidding aside, the real reason I'm writing about this is so that when I'm tempted to lapse into my old eating habits I can go back and read this and remember another reason NOT to do that!
