Everyone needs to have a quiet time.
Time to yourself to bond with the inner
you, or your thoughts....or the things
around you.....
That old oak tree standing tall in
the yard...have you given thought to
it at all?
From a little seed it grew and
grew, it's roots reaching out
like little feet, in search of food.
Its branches stretching out,
its leaves turning green.
Housing little critters in nests
where no one can see.
What about hearing your heart
beating, every breath you take
so loud and clear.
Wonderful things are happening to
you...
Quiet times when your body is
at rest, so relaxed you doze off
to sleep.
If your body could say thank you,
it would, for giving it time to regain
its energy.
The noise of the world fades away,
bringing a silence for a time to
stay.
Quiet times like this, are yours
to have, helps heal the body and
soul, so you may go on and never
grow old.
