I had a great workout the end the workout week. I did 45 minutes today on my treadmill. I always warmup first for 5 mins, then I slowly increase the speed. I increase the speed about every 10 mins or so depending on how I feel. On days that I feel lazy, I don't do too much of any increase except for whats necessary. Then after I reached 4.0 I started jogging and walking going back and forth. I felt refreshed. My arms were swinging vigourous and steady, but controlled. Then towards the very end before my cool down, I pushed it up alot til I reached a speed of 5.3 and I ran for almost 3 mins with that speed. I don't know if you realize how difficult it is to run at that speed. Well it is and I enjoyed every minute of it, then came the cool down. Now I'm ready to enjoy a relaxed weekend and let my body adjust. So glad I accomplished 5 days of workout and didn't give in to self pity.
