New to spark

Hello,
I am new to this spark page a couple of my sisters turned me on to it by loosing well over 30lbs a piece. So I figured I'd give it a try... So far so good. I'm walking 2 plus miles a day and I just started little over a week ago! I'm keeping my eating with in my range but it always seems like my calories are so high and the protein, carbs, and fiber are on the low side of the scale. I'm wondering if anyone would be able to give me some helpful hints in regards to some foods to weight that out. I have been eating a lot of chicken, veggies and fruit. I've also just started to eat fiber 1 bars that are surprisingly good! But now my BM's have become softer, should I assume this is normal? So if there are any helpful hints out there please let me know!

    Here are my suggestions...
    1. Get a food scale (if you don't already have one). You'll be surprised at how much 3 oz of chicken really is.
    2. Get those measuring cups out and measure your food. That way you'll truly know how much you are consuming.

    I still measure my fruit, cereal and milk every morning.
