Ignoring the scale

I'm not good at ignoring the scale. In fact, I weigh myself everyday but don't get too worked up about it. I've been a bit stuck lately but noticed today that the shorts I wore a couple of weeks ago were looser now. I decided to measure myself and what do you know...I've lost 3 inches off my waist in 6 weeks and two off my hips and one off my thigh. Think I'll keep trying to ignore the scale!!!

    I usually don't get too worked up about the scale either, but I do weigh myself close to every day. If I didn't I would fall off the wagon and gain. For me it is just a check to make sure I'm not going up in huge amounts. :-)

    Well done! Ha thats the one thing i havent done measure my self! i dont weigh every day if i did i'd be suffering from depresion, but even the last couple of weeks the scales havent moved! I'm going to find a tape! catch you l8r. S emoticon

    Now THAT is what I needed to hear! I was plateaued myself...but I have noticed my pants looser! THANK for sharing and WAY TO GO! Whoooot!

    When I first started this process I weighed and measured every Sunday. It was exciting when the first 10 pounds came off so easily. Then came the bump in the road and I went for almost two months without losing anything. I got so that I didn't like measuring and weighing day so now I weigh every two or three weeks. I am back to losing although not as quickly.
