My current fitness routine is pissing me off!

Sunday, August 16, 2009

With that said, I have decided to throw everything into the trash (not really) and start fresh with a fitness routine. Why? Because it is starting to affect my moods and that is not good. Why do I have to be such a mental oddity? You don't need to answer that. If I skip one day of running I get all wonky. My flabby everything is pissing me off so I need to do something about it. So I put a strengthening routine together with the help of the Spark fitness tools. I will NOT be running 6 days now and knocked it down to 4-5 days per week and will do strengthening 3 days per week. I tried giving myself a fitness day off and I am grouchy if I don't do anything. I must force myself to think in moderation and I wish myself alot of uck with that.

We will see how this goes and I have a feeling that if I give it a good shot, everything will fall into place. I am determined to make it so.

Well, Laurie, one thing about it, Spark found a place within you and it won't be ignored! LOL I think you're doing the right thing, changing things up a bit. And you had it right, it'll all fall into place. Wonky ~ I love that word, it really describes the way I feel once in a while!

Keep up the good work, girlfriend, you're gettin' there! BTW, I'm so glad you're back in Texas where you belong! ~grin~

Good for you doing something about the pissed off feeling.. Toning up can do alot of the self confidence and the flabby everything.. Don't think nothing is happening, it takes along time to get results.. I have been working my butt off now 4 years and can finally see results..
It is worth it, our curves became more compact, may gain a little muscle mass, but don't be scared of this.. Muscle will and should weight about 22% more than fat.
I lost 3 more jean sizes without lossing a ounce on the scales on maintenance...

It's good to change your routine around. 6 days of anything is too much. I cycle 10 miles per day 5 days a week. Strength train 3 days and take two days off for myself. No cardio, no strength no nothing. Keep plugging away gal!

Don't beat yourself up. It is good to change the routine every so often.

    Good Luck.

Laurie, this change you are implementing should be just what you need to facilitate the goals you mentioned. I encourage you to give it a sincere effort for the next six months before you make further changes. The lifting is critical for toning and shaping (and de-jiggling). Be patient with yourself.
