I have just successfully lived one full week of a new lifestyle that I am very proud of. I did the normal things I usually do, but I changed my eating habits greatly and I feel GREAT for it. I did have a few drinks over the weekend like usual but this time I didn't binge eat just because it was the weekend. I need to keep focused on my end goal and more importantly on all the mini goals I've set for myself in between. I have lost a few pounds over a one week period without any exercise. This week, I plan on adding exercise into my weekly routines. Hopefully, this will kick my weight loss up a notch.
The main thing I need to keep in mind is that it has taken me 21 years to get to this weight, it will take me more than a few months to lose it. Patience!!! I have to remember to just keep trying and keep pushing on if I ever want to see a real change. But so far, my mood has already improved, my energy is up a bit, and my self-esteem is up a bit too.
Baby steps, remember, baby steps to the bigger goal.
